Chi sono i membri di Euro NCAP?

Il programma Euro NCAP è stato istituito dal Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) per conto del Ministero dei Trasporti del Regno Unito. Successivamente, altri governi hanno aderito al programma (Francia, Germania, Svezia, Paesi Bassi, Catalogna e più recentemente Lussemburgo). Molte associazioni di consumatori in Europa sono membri attraverso l'International Consumer Research and Testing (ICRT). Gli automobile club sono rappresentati dall'adesione della FIA e dall'adesione individuale del club tedesco ADAC.

È proprio questo ampio consorzio a garantire la nostra indipendenza. Euro NCAP stesso è un'associazione internazionale ai sensi dell'ordinamento giuridico belga. Non siamo soggetti ad alcun controllo industriale e politico e nessun membro può esercitare pressioni su Euro NCAP a fini di interessi unilaterali. Euro NCAP è assolutamente indipendente dall'industria automobilistica.
